SUCCESS = Everyday is NEW BIRTH!

After a gap of over 6 month, I finally wrote my blog. During this period, I received several comments, queries as to why I am not writing. Let me tell you the truth,"I was rushing to complete so many things during this period". I have this strange filling in me, that I need to finish the agenda and purpose of being in this life as early as I can, as if today is the last day. I thought, I am getting too much worked up and that is why I am having such a strange filling. I almost felt that something is wrong with me, and that I am just trying too much! I was also almost convinced by my so called peers, colleagues and friends that I am doing too much, and I am doing too fast - as if there is no next day. It is indeed strange to feel this way! I was looking for the answer for this. At last, I got my answer earlier today.

On one of the entertainment show (SaReGaMaPa 2009) His Holiness Baba Ramdev said, "Meri Jindagi ki har subaha mera eak naya Janma hai. Mera eak din eak jindagi ke barabar hai. Jiske liye parmatma ne muze is dharati per bheja hai use main eak din main karna chahata hun. Main ise manta hoon ki jise main aaj na kar saka use main kal kaise kar paunga, aur jisko main kal kar paunga, use main aaj karoon.". I got the answer as to why his holiness Ramdev is successful - becuase he treat every day as new life and new birth - as if tomorrow is not on horizon. This keeps you on your toes, and always in positive dynamics which leads to success in any field that you enter.

Unfortunately, not all of us realise this mantra. We take life so casually as if you have unlimitted span to be in this form of life. With every passing moment, we loose the opportunity to win or succeed. Success calls that you treat every moment, day and period as if you go one fresh new opportunity. Because, SUCCESS is -

SUCCESS = Everyday is NEW BIRTH.

SUCCESS = Complete the TASK

While Mumbai was being attacked on 26/11 (26th Nov. 2008)- hundreds of innocent people were killed, and thousands were held hostage, far away from my mother land, I was helplessly watching the tragedy unfolding on the television. Never before, I was glued to television for over 65 hours, and why not? My nation, my nationality, my existence, my mother(India) was being brutally attacked by few extremists.

Finally Taj (Hotel Taj Mahal) was liberated, and sanitised entire nation was cheering the victory of our forces, and mourning scarifice of some its brave sons. After completing their job, members of the our security forces were calmly getting back into their buses, as if nothing as happened. No sign of tiredlessness, no celebration of any victory, they were just retrieving back into their barracks like any other job that they would do during the time of peace. One of the CNN-IBN reporter asked one of the soilder, "App ko iss wakt kaise laga raha hai" (How are you feeling at this moment). Without any expression, and great composure, he promptly replied, "Hamne hamara kaam kiya hai, Jada kutch nahin" (We have just completed our TASK, nothing much).

Tears rolled down my chicks. I could not resist to stand up on my seat, and salute the spirit of this brave son of India, for his spirit, his professionalism. He and his colleague after such an heroic fight only felt that "they did their JOB". What a humility! I got my answer as to why India is Great? - we do have sons and daughters who just do their TASKS! This is why, India would amongst all odds will continue to prosper, and would emerge as most successful nation in the world.

"Doing our TASK with total dedication is way to SUCCESS". However, amongst many high profile 'mantra's we forget this simple sutra. SUCCESS is directly proportional to number of successful tasks that you have performed. As you perform you each TASK, you become stronger, you learn new technique, you become wiser, you achieve new skill, and thus you become little more expert than you were before, you gain more experience - which is all you need to be successful. Further, when you do each such TASK with simplicity, dedication and humility, why success will not be yours? It would surely would be yours!

However, unfortunate fact is that- often such simple and most basic sutra is ingnored by all those we aspire and strive for success. We often look for shortcuts, and ignore as many of these task on your way to success would be so simple, so negligible that we do think it is not necessary to complete them. However, we forget that no TASK is simple, every task has its purpose, because every step in the ladder of success is important.

Every single, soilder of this great nation understand this. This is why, we are successful nation, and we would continue to be successful. All that we need to do is to salute the spirit of our brave soliders, and attempt to assimilate this very basic sutra in our mind, heart and act. Because,

SUCCESS = Complete the TASK!
