SUCCESS = SKETCH YOURSELF!

Welcome 2008! Wish you all a very happy and prosperous new year 2008!

My daughter often surprises me with her spontaneous answers. For past few months, she often told us that she is unhappy with us as we have not invited her for our marriage. Typical of kids! However, last week was different. Pradnya, me and Maitri were passing by the Don Bosco Highschool, in Yeradwada area of Pune where Pradnya and I tied knots for life on 7th June 1996. As we were passing by the venue, I told Maitri that Pradnya and I got married here. Maitri spontaneously responded that she could not attend it, as she was with GOD sketching her life. Pradnya and I were totally taken for great surprise with this answer, and we felt extremely proud of our daughter. This incident ignited my thought process, with a question – how many of us sketch our lives?

Success is not a chance it is planned event. If it is so, then one can not achieve it with mere luck or blessings. But it could be achieved only with proper blue print and stricter implementation in timely manner. However, the question is how many of us feel it is necessary to draw such a blue print of our success? How many of us even attempt to sketch the life and its most important milestones? Since, we don’t we miss the success, and then we blame it to our luck. Success is a process, and planning is integral part of this process. This not only involves dreaming, but also sketching it on paper and then implementing it with definite time plan.

I have personally experienced on more than one occasion that when ever I have dreamed with strong conviction and belief about specific milestone of success, and then put it into words, and action plan, I was better able to implement it and thus I achieved all such milestones and challenges. I would not have achieved them, if I would not have sketched them. So as we usher in to new year, sketch even the minor milestones of your success. By the way, no milestone or achievement is minor, as each of such challenges when overcome, lead you closer to the grand success. Thus,

SUCCESS = SKETCH IT YOURSELF!

I wonder how the first day of this new year just passed without a post.. now I am glad that there is something for everyone to plan their 'blue print' of success for the years ahead.

I think everyone needs to develop a 'personal blue print' based on a common factor 'AGE' and split the age in to 'set of 5 / 10 years' to look back (<<-- or look ahead ->>) .. irrespective of where we stand now ( -- || ---) in the scale of 'AGE'. I am sure every one in the world would have crossed this 'set of years' (1..5,.10,..20..30..40..50..60..70..80) with some goals and re-planning and re-adjusting the goals periodically
based on past experience would re-define the success path..

Let me try one such blue print.. I also realized that life start and gone unnoticed till you are in 20 and slow but most crucial between 20-30 then you start believing yourself between 30-40 at 40.. you pause and look backward (mostly individualistic life) and think forward.. as you are somewhere in the middle of your 'life'. The Self realization occurs this time as you become more responsible with life partner, kids, family, friends, colleagues, guru,followers..

I also realized life is like cyclotron where you are a particle in motion with time. Moving with time and gain acceleration due to encounter with additional fields/factors.. and gain energy. At this point unlike cyclotron where the particle bombard with other particles, as a human being with high capacity and energy we need to be more 'responsible' as "power comes with responsibility". "I now realized Gandhiji had a blue print for every one in India"
